Neuro- Excitement!

I just love the Casual phasing in the last panel. XD

Also, hurray for the mad social scientist! Any project that uses a thousand orphans sounds interesting enough for me!

Social scientists never get much respect, especially mad ones. I want to conduct some bizarre perversions of cultural analysis....

AGATHA! Let Gil up already!

I adore the mad social scientist. My dad was a sociologist.

I also love the perky way Agatha says "Cross me and die."

The question is how long would it take the citizens to get used to the random walls and alleys to the point where it's considered "normal?"

MAD SOCIAL SCIENTIST. <3 <3 <3

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, STUDIO FOGLIO. WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?

Would it be greedy of me to ask for a mad Library and Information Scientist as well? Or maybe a mad sociolinguist?

Posted by: cerrberus ([info]cerrberus)
Posted at: May 6th, 2009 04:11 am (UTC)

Well, there is possibly a mad Library....

Yay! Logic!

But isn't Tarvek, like, dying in the meantime? Not that I like Tarvek, but, still...

Posted at: May 6th, 2009 04:39 am (UTC)

Agatha can't have two boyfriends without Tarvek.

I am amused by Tarvek, which is not quite the same thing as liking him. But yes, Agatha seems to have momentarily forgotten why she came here in the first place.

She'll be along. She still getting her bearings. You can't just rush off when there're other people around. It's kinda rude. (Even moreso in her own house, since she's essentially the hostess.)

YES! That is what I'll do with my Sociology degree!

Very few added walls...

How many walls? And can it be put as a tourist attraction?

Ah, no, it'll be the quintessential Tourist Trap!

I have always thought that psychology and sociology would be much more advanced if it weren't for those pesky "ethics" thingys. No one cares what you do to a hydrogen atom, but start one little war to study human behavior in stressful circumstances and those IRBs are all over you.

The solution, as with most problems, is proper planning: use the IRB as test subjects for mind control experiments first. After they are controlled, get approval for the war.

It was easier under the last presidency, of course....

Social Science Boy will go on to design a House of Stairs.

Agatha does have a winning way. She's about to be head of a gang of grateful mad-kin. Or would that be mad-kith?

Later... the Mad Social Scientist was released back into the wild and eventual found an a "Lab Partner" and eventually had "Assistants"

A lasting foundation to his memory can be found here...

Aren't Social Scientists mad by definition? Or is that civil engineers?

Bah, that guy! Typical mad scientist, instead of doing with the data he could gather from the wild, he insists on an elaborate we-belong-dead construction. I mean, has he looked at *where he's been*? Hello? Giant homicidal castle with a bunch of people trapped inside, and the Baron has all the cheese?

Posted at: May 6th, 2009 10:46 am (UTC)

Oh my God. Mad Social Scientist sounds like me when I'm ranting about the Science and Commerce depts getting all the funding at my uni!!!! <33333

OK, not so annoyed at Agatha now!

Am I the only one who (reads? hears? parses? not sure what the right word here is?) the mad social scientist as having a voice very similar to Dr. Strangelove?

I will note that there was a bit of previous speculation on the existence of Social Science Sparks, for the curious.

I will also note that I do IT support for a pack of Mad Social Scientists....
