I am amused by Tarvek, which is not quite the same thing as liking him. But yes, Agatha seems to have momentarily forgotten why she came here in the first place.

I have always thought that psychology and sociology would be much more advanced if it weren't for those pesky "ethics" thingys. No one cares what you do to a hydrogen atom, but start one little war to study human behavior in stressful circumstances and those IRBs are all over you.

The solution, as with most problems, is proper planning: use the IRB as test subjects for mind control experiments first. After they are controlled, get approval for the war.
