Wow, Tarvek is perceptive. But not what I waited up for. :(
They're good at that.
Whew! No Zola in the picture. Glad to see Violetta again -- and she's actually afraid of Tarvek! How much help do you think Othar is actually going to be? After all, there are quite a few Sparky denizens of Der Kestle who are now roaming around, asking to be offed... (at least, in Othar's mind they're asking for it).But... I did want to see what made Gkika swear like she did. (Yes, I think "Gott's Leetle Feesh In Trousers!" has got to be some really strong cussing for a Jäger.)ETA: Those are some heavy storm clouds moving in...Edited at 2012-05-04 05:56 am (UTC)
Is Violetta afraid of Tarvek, or is she afraid he's going to be even more upset when he hears what Agatha said?
Both, I think. She may still be adjusting to the fact that he actually did pay attention in Smoke Knight training (and heard her approach -- she's usually the sneakier one). Add to that what Agatha said (part of which shows up her own shortcomings in calling him a "weasel"), and his obvious "you're away from your post" comment, and you have a pretty apprehensive Smoke Knight.
Just have Tarvek as your spunky sidekick instead. I'm sure he'd look just as nice in corsets and frills as Agatha. And Tarvek should move away from that fountain. It automatically drowns princes and princesses or something else ominous, according to that plaque.
There appears to be a Rusalka involved.
Wiki on rusalkas.
Hmmmmm. . . how about -- Olga?(The Circus would probably find her too painful, since she can't remember.)
Sanaa actually wants the job.
Did you see the bonus panel at the actual site?Oh, Tarvek. Never stop being a fashionista.
Oh, yes. Lovely panel. . . .
Wait until Tarvek sees Agatha's bedroom armor. He'll faint dead away.
Good Van, being diplomatic with the allies.Love the texturing on Othar's sweater; and the beautiful, ominous storm clouds. Storm clouds for a Storm King? Looking at the bottom panels, I think Vi and Tarvek must be fairly close cousins; or cousins more than once, they look so similar. She doesn't want to let him know that Agatha would have seen through her plan, is that worry that he'll be hurt? I think so, she must be softening towards him.
I don't think Van is being diplomatic. I think he's fallen under Othar's spell. Ugh.I think Vi softened towards Tarvek by the time she talked to him about protecting Agatha.
... and the beautiful, ominous storm clouds. I think that's smoke. Remember, the invaders have been busy, and the city is on fire. As are the invaders now, too ...
GRRRRR.... *bangs head on desk* Not only do we not get to see what Agatha's wearing, that toolbox is back. XP Othar... so much HATE.Though maybe they can get Tarvek a costume change as well while he's down there...
Do you suppose the Jagers know Othar is a monster? Mechanicsburg obviously doesn't.
You know oddly enough when I first read this I took Vi's reaction as indicating she was stretching the truth a bit to Tarvek hence her discomfort. But then I thought 1) Tarvek would be able to see through that if she was lying wouldn't he? and 2) what reason would she have to lie to him anyways? But I dinnae ken :DAlso I want to draw Tarvek with his Broody McAngstypants face with a little storm cloud following him around everywhere hahah
... Tarvek with his Broody McAngstypants face ...Tarvek has good reason to be gloomy. He's pretty sure that Klaus has been wasped, and he doesn't think Gil is up to handling the problem alone. And I suspect he's right ...
Exactly. Plus, he needs to tell Agatha about both problems; and she's not going to be a happy woman. He probably wants to prevent her from running off to rescue Gil herself. Given her heroic impulses that's going to be tricky.
Tarvek does brood well, doesn't he? I'd like to see that drawing, if you do it. Gil/kilt?
