Schmott Guy

I counted five daggers when she hit the floor.

...that makes six with the one she already threw.
And I am betting on a lot more.

vonzinzer huh

If Gil doesn't pull his punches because she's a gurrrrrl, Bang could be in for a surprise. Young Gilgamesh has been ... enhanced. Remember how Gil lifted and threw the machine that Merlot was riding?

He beat Vole.

This fight will last at least long enough that he won't hit the falling machine on the way down.

(Snerk) Gil-Gil-Gil, you are obviously not thinking clearly.

Of *course* Tarvek encrypts his notes. You would, too, given that environment! In fact, I'd lay long odds you encrypt the important stuff yourself, just like you hide your secret lab.

As for letting Bang get the boot in? Come on, son, show a little sense... what else was *BANG* going to do, anyway?

Encryption

Plus, that's a little tiny notebook; you'd need some sort of shorthand anyhow to fit a decent amount of notes into it. May as well encrypt it too.

Let's just hope it's based on some secret code the boys had when they played together as kids.

Smackdown time!

Secretly, I'm hoping for ten pages of Gil and Bang beating the snot outta each other with the occasional moment of WTF when Bang suddenly finds the flame thrower and Gil finds that he actually can make a decent Death Ray when necessary. That said, I would be content with a few more panels. It just seems time for a healthy dose of unnecessary violence! (That or I'm ready for Spring Break to be over... I am so bored.)

Where's the Gil who always tries to be reasonable?

Hey, dolt, tell her Klaus may be wasped. Tell her about the formula. Bang may be a rampage all by herself; but she's loyal to the Baron and you need all the help you can get. She can think for herself, even if it's mostly directed at how to cause death and destruction. Don't just expect her to be a minion and follow your orders, she doesn't do that for the Baron, she most certainly won't for you. Pfui!

*whew!*

*is happy that Bang did indeed revert to detaining Gil, as predicted*

I see Bangladesh Dupree is a mistress of the art of Tai Kwon Leep.

"Boot to the head!" *THOONK!*

If/when Gil does establish dominance (remember what he did to Wooster? Or Vole?) she might get the hots for him. And if Agatha shows up just then...

Bang's love is more specific than that

She didn't fall for Vole because he beat anyone up, herself included. She fell for him because his vision of ultimate desire matched her own, death and destruction everywhere. She knows Gil too well to believe he would ever share that with her; if he can beat her up, well then, he can beat her up, it won't induce love in her.

I'm rather hoping she spits in his face until he appeals to her to help him with Klaus and the wasps, even if he does win the battle. He still needs to win her help.

Though it would be amusing if Zoing deployed one of Gil's cage traps and captured her for Gil.

Re: Well...
Bored fox

Not really...if he'd kept Vole with him, he'd be easier to convince...but he'd also get bored while Gil does science stuff and go off to *cause* trouble. Bang, on the other hand, once Gil 'convinces' her (either by logic or percussion) will properly watch his back and not go make things worse.

Gil may still have trouble with this one.

That's the biggest difference between him and Klaus, as I see it. While Klaus goes all out from the word go, Gil always starts, well, in a softer way, then ups the violence if he sees the need or, specially, if he gets really mad.

And sometimes, as it happened with Vole, Gil pays for it. Of course, Klaus also pays for his way, if a different price. He didn't get his reputation as an iron-fisted, ruthless tyrant for nothing.

But then, using extreme violence as a time-saving device has a price :)

Still, this will end up with somebody with tied up, hanging from the ceiling like a salami, and I think it will be Bang.

Seriously. Think of the children. And make plans to move to a less doomed planet.

I am now curious. Will Gil have to deal with Bang by himself unaided? Or (since this is his lab) will his tea-maker Zoing come to the rescue with something like the Fencing Tutor.

Regardless, Bang should not have booted Gil in the face just at that moment. He's already popped in and out of the Madness Place once or twice in the last ten minutes of his life.
